I am a single mother of a beautiful and wonderful daughter. It’s funny when you have to write something about yourself, that the first sentence is so defining. Well, being a mom is what I am and what I do. I’ve taught her how to be a person of character. Teaching her that the values and morals she adopts as a young person will carry her through life as an honourable and trustworthy person.

Children today have so many things to worry about. Through my writing I want to help parents teach their kids to be people of character.

As a society, we have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare . We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem. We have abused power and called it politics.
We have coveted our neighbor\'s possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. We need to help the next generation to turn things around for the better.

I originally wrote The Skunk Who Went to Town at the tender age of 9 yrs old for a school assignment. I kept it in a box for years and never felt confident enough to get it published. It was always a dream in my heart to be an author. After growing and maturing and some internet research I found that I could get my book published on my own. I found a wonderful illustrator in Brian Lemay and he helped me to see my dream in reality and in full colour.

I am currently working on a series of children’s books and two novels.
I hope to have them published very soon!
